HOA Upcoming Events
Please note that the following events are on the calendar:
- October 27: Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest
Tree Trimming
Trees located on your property between the sidewalk and street are your responsibility to maintain. Please trim back any branches extending over the sidewalk to maintain at least a 7 ft. clearance from the ground. This is in accordance with Pittsfield Ordinance 298 Section 38-36 as follows: "Any bush, shrub, tree or other vegetation or portion thereof obstructing the line of vision or interfering with passage of pedestrians or motorists on a sidewalk, walkway, driveway or street is prohibited”. Please have this completed by June 2013. After June, the HOA landscaping service will be notified to trim any trees that are not within the 7 ft. clearance. The expense incurred will be billed back to each applicable unit owner.
Watch Your Speed
There have been concerns of excessive speed within the neighborhood. Most of the complaints concern known residents. Please be aware that the speed limit is 25 mph. We have a large number of children that play throughout the neighborhood and that the speed limit keeps us all safe.
Notify Pittsfield of Your Extended Time Away From Home
Recording your vacation time away from home will give the Pittsfield Township DPS additional information to contact the homeowner in the event of an emergency. Use this form to record your period of leave with Pittsfield Township and do not forget to alert them if your schedule changes. It would also be beneficial to notify your neighbors so that they can keep a watch on your home when you are gone. Please send an email to the Bridgefield Estates Homeowners Association so that they can alert the neighborhood watch as well.
